Abstract

A conscious self-awareness may help travelers explore and adapt to another culture.

In this paper, I attempt to demonstrate this self-monitoring process by sharing my reflections about some internal thoughts, conflicts, and ethical issues which I pondered while traveling, conversing, and researching in two Asian countries.
