Lessons Learned: Experiences of a Caregiver

Abstract

In the following narrative, the author shares experiences from the time when she was the full time caregiver for her mother who suffered from dementia.  She reflects on the lasting impact this experience had on her life and her identity as a social work practitioner and educator.
