Abstract

From 2011 to January 2014 the [State: redacted for blind review] Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW/XX), embarked on an unprecedented and ultimately successful campaign to change state hiring practices so that clients of State agencies would receive services delivered by professionally degreed social workers.  This reflection presents that campaign from the perspectives of three of the many key players who were instrumental to its success.
