Author Biography

Kathy Zappitello, Conneaut Public Library

Kathy Pape has worked for twelve years in Ohio libraries and is currently the Executive Director of the Conneaut Public Library in Conneaut, Ohio where she was named Conneaut Citizen of the Year in 2014.  Kathy is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Northeast Ohio Regional Library System and serves on its finance committee and is also Past President of the Rotary Club of Conneaut.  Helping other libraries and businesses with processes, communications, and challenges has become her passion.  She has facilitated countless webinars and in-service workshops to help strengthen workplace dynamics and highlight the path of leadership within all levels of an organization.  Kathy was a featured past speaker for the Indiana Library Federation Annual Conference 2014 and presented a work shop titled, Detect, Defuse, and Delight Your Difficult Patrons at the 2015 Association for Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL) National Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas.
