Abstract

While there was some literature written about new practitioners of narrative therapy from teachers' perspectives, there is virtually nothing written about this topic from the new practitioner's perspective. As a first-year-in-practice MSW, I share my insights, challenges and how I've grown professionally and personally as a result of using the narrative therapy approach. “Jill” also offers what her experiences of narrative therapy were and what she has learned along the way.
